I present an onboarding class that spans over 7.5 hours in 1 day. Thankfully the company shortened it from 10 hours! I have found, just from the small amount of free content David has put out here, reinforces many of the behaviors I have developed over 2 years of presenting to classes, 3 times a week. This assumes that the muscles in your face will cooperate. However, soon after reaching the age of 60 I found that my smile had become unnatural, in fact, monstrous. I have tried facial exercises, too little effect. Something about my aging face (it is not palsy) makes it impossible to smile naturally or to appear normal. If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate some help. When I am with someone, I have to be careful to smile with my mouth closed, so that I don't frighten them. When I have forgotten this, I noticed that the other person was definitely alarmed.

Just discovered your videos and generally great advice all around! I will call you out on #3 in this video though - as a sound tech who has worked in these environments for 15+ years, this simply doesn't happen. if your wireless mic did somehow have a strong-enough signal to pick up the transmitter from the bathroom to your presentation room, the sound technician would be quick to mute the channel. We all like to joke about the scene in Naked Gun, but its fiction.

I've discovered the way to unlocking my confidence and putting on presentations that I'm proud of is to remind myself that everyone else also hates presentations and is usually rubbish at them too, so it really doesn't take much effort at all to put on an outstanding presentation and impress everyone.

Without science and hacking, I've found to begin with it helps to completely disassociate from the topic and simply let it flow through you as if you were a radio with an antenna to the Source. The knowledge is here, the words exist, just allow it all to flow through you. Drawbacks: may appear to be high, if passionate; unable to answer questions because remember nothing you said
